Many IAE researchers are actively involved in directing and teaching in the Master’s programs of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).
The BSE was founded in 2006 by Andreu Mas-Colell as an institution for scientific cooperation between four academic and research units in Barcelona: the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC), the UAB Unit of Economic Analysis, the UPF Department of Economics and Business, and the Center for Research in International Economics (CREi).
The BSE aims to promote the creation and transmission of frontier knowledge in Economics and related disciplines, by consolidating Barcelona as a world-class center of research, academic education, and professional training with the ultimate goals of informing policy and promoting economic and social wellbeing.
The BSE offers Master’s programs in Economics, Finance, and Data Science, that are developed by prestigious economists including Nobel Laureates. The rigorous one-year, full-time Master's programs that prepare students for doctoral study and provide robust training for top jobs in economics and finance-related professions.
All BSE Master’s degrees have been recognized by the Catalan and Spanish education authorities within the framework of the Bologna Process (in Spanish, “Master Universitario o Master Oficial”). For more information, please follow the link below.
