Short Biography

Enriqueta Aragonès joined the Institute in 2001. Her main research area is Political Economics, which lies on the boundary between Economics and Political Science. She uses the tools provided by Economic Analysis and Game Theory to analyze political questions. In particular, she studies the strategic interactions among the agents involved in an election: parties, candidates, voters, etc. Before joining the Institute she was a member of the Economics Department of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
