Albert Marcet (ICREA Research Professor, IAE-CSIC) ha recibido el premio Rei Jaume I de esta edición 2016 en Economía por su investigación en macroeconomía por haber aportado "mejoras en los instrumentos analíticos utilizados por los bancos centrales y los gobiernos"
